I always believed you were beautiful when you were bleeding.
Your blood was a lovely deep red, but not nearly as deep as you.
The crimson liquid would look magnificent on your pasty pallet. Sometimes it would even stain giving you a pretty pink glow. I’d never known that glow was a reminder of your failure. It was sad that you did it to yourself.

I always believed you were beautiful when you were covered in bruises.
Like the red, the purple would stand out against your alabaster skin. Along with the blood, they brought colour to your black and white world.

andi miss youandi was a girl. she thought the 'i' in the spelling of her name made this clear, but still, every year she would have to change her paperwork to an f under sex.

she drank tea. it made her feel beautiful, knowing the leaves of some bleached plant were warming her belly when she shuddered. it was always too cold for andi.

Huh. So I haven't written anything in awhile. Maybe it's because I've been well... quite happy lately and I can only seem to write when I'm not. I don't know. Or maybe it's because I cannot get circuses and clowns and the like out of my head. It's my current obsession.

I've also starting drawing lately and so I tend to do that rather than write. I can't seem to focus on just one thing and must have several projects. Problem is, that way, I never finish any of them even though now that I've finished school, I have plenty of time. Instead I sit around watching my favourite television shows over and over again. I really wish I'd stop procrastinating. I think I will. Or I hope I will now that I have an idea for a novel I want to and write someday, hopefully, get published. Well, that will always be the dream and I will always be a dreamer.
